The Picton Group of Companies consist of Picton Press, Alken Colour Media and Muhlings Colour Printers with over a hundred years of history. These companies trade under the entity of Picton Press. Jointly the Company has been trading since 1898. The Company principals are Dennis Hague (Sales and Marketing) and Gary Kennedy (Administration and Finance).

The company’s growth has been phenomenal since our humble beginnings in East Perth. We are distinctly inclined toward technology and acquisition rather than duplication of supply. This is demonstrated by the absorption of Muhlings in 1999 and the merger of Alken Colour Media in 2001.

The Company presently employs 55 people including the principals. The original Picton has grown from a three person operation in 1987 to a well respected local, national and international awarded print and communication company. The highlight being the first printer in Western Australia to claim the Benjamin Franklin Award in 1997 Best of Category. This is an international award held in Chicago USA every four years between the best Printers in the world.
